A silvery-gray eel had already gone limp as the fishermen found it on their trawler. But the thing is the eel has a length 7 feet (2.1 meters) according to the company that caught the huge eel.
Fisher man accidentally snagged the blue-eyed eel on may 14. 2015 at around 8 am off the southwestern coast of the United Kingdom. At the time, they trawling the area on an inshore trawler na HOPE. The huge eel got stuck in th nets, and was already dead by the time the crew hauled in aboard. And by the time it was pulled out, the fishermen was amazed of the size of the eel.
In fact, the huge eel narrowly missed setting a U.K. record. Once gutted, it weighed 131 lbs, just a little bit short of the 133.25 lbs record for a rod-caught conger eel. Before it was gutted the giant eel almost weighed between 155 tp 160 lbs. according the company.
